About Us

Canterbury Bankstown Harmony Group is a community-based initiative established in Canterbury and Bankstown City, Sydney Australia in 2006.

The Group consists of over 16 diverse community groups throughout Canterbury City including the suburbs of Riverwood, Narwee, Roselands, Kingsgrove, Wiley Park, Campsie, Lakemba, Belmore, Punchbowl and Bankstown.

Our aims are:

  • To strengthen and enhance multicultural Diversity and Awareness throughout various Communities utilising many voices united as one.
  • To promote respect, understanding, fairness, inclusion and a sense of belonging for everyone within the community of Canterbury.
  • To address the issues of cultural, racial and religious intolerance.
  • To identify the community‘s needs and provide access, opportunity, hope and a chance for a better future.
